The Dorset Birding and Wildlife Experience offers a local knowledge and an expertise of Dorset’s birds and wildlife catering for all levels of experience with a range of services to meet your requirements. Dorset has to be rated as one of the top counties in the UK for its bird life and its wide variety of habitats means that other wildlife groups are all well represented.

This site outlines what the Dorset Birding and Wildlife Experience has to offer.  Please remember that we will take a flexible approach to your enquiry, so if you don't see exactly what you are looking for then please contact us to discuss your requirements.

     

Although birds are the most obvious of the wildlife groups and our main speciality, our tours will also offer an experience of a wide range of other groups including butterflies, dragonflies and flora as well as the opportunity to visit some of Dorset's most stunning landscapes.

Our Tailor-made Birding and Wildlife Tours are designed by us, for you, so that your visit to Dorset is as productive as possible. 

When you book a tailor-made birding and wildlife tour we will work around your interests to produce a suitable itinerary providing you with a Dorset birding and wildlife experience not to forget. 

These tours are inclusive of road transport, refreshments and entrance fees.

Our Themed Birding and Wildlife Walks are an alternative to our

tailor-made birding and wildlife tours. 

We run a programme of walks through the year.  Full day walks may include:

"Winter Birding in Purbeck: a Dawn to Dusk Bird Race to See 100 Species" and

"Portland and Weymouth Spring Migrants", whilst half-day walks may include

"A Nightjar Evening" and "Dragonfly Hunting on the Purbeck Heaths".
